Today, Stream Source is participating in Treaty Days alongside the Poundmaker Cree Nation, located on Treaty 6 territory. From pipe ceremonies to a career fair, the event is a chance to reflect and recognize Treaty rights signed back in 1874. The day also includes the distribution of annual payments.
“As an Aboriginal-owned recruitment company, we are pleased to participate in this event and connect with the people of Poundmaker Cree Nation who might be interested in joining our workforce,” says Maurino Pacheco, Director, Aboriginal Engagement & Workforce Strategies. “Our goal is to secure long-term, sustainable employment and partnerships for Aboriginal people.”
